On May 13th Rising Sun held the 9th Annual Lisfihill Road Straight mile at Lisfihill Road, Ballinhassig, Co Cork

Enable Ireland, The Lavanagh Centre, Ballintemple, Cork

The race was held in dry conditions but into a very strong wind. The mens Race was won by Colin Condon, St.Finbarrs from clubmate Eamonn McEvoy and Ruairi O'Mahony. The women's race was won by Michelle Kenny, Midleton AC from Rebecca McEvoy, St Finbarrs and Orla Crosby, St Finbarrs
